Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1995-present

Typically, cars and sedans are sold at auction or donated to local charities. Their value can be maximized through repairs or simply reselling in good condition to help fund essential services.

With many residents commuting within the bustling cityscape of Fort Lauderdale, reliable sedans are always in demand.

Pickup Trucks
1995-present

Pickup trucks are often sold at auctions, but if they’re older or in rough condition, they can be stripped for parts. Their robustness makes them popular among many donors.

In Fort Lauderdale, pickup trucks serve many purposes, from working vehicles to leisure adventures in nearby natural parks.

SUVs & Crossovers
1995-present

Donated SUVs and crossovers usually find new life either through auction sales or being refurbished for families needing reliable transport.

Given Fort Lauderdale's family-oriented culture, SUVs are favored for their space and versatility.

Motorcycles
1995-present

Motorcycles that are donated often go to auction or can be parted out. Their unique value captures the interests of enthusiasts and collectors.

With scenic coastal roads, motorcycles are a favored form of transport and adventure in Fort Lauderdale.

RVs & Campers
1995-present

RVs typically bring in funds through auctions, and can also be refurbished for families wanting to explore Florida's great outdoors.

Fort Lauderdale residents love exploring the sunny state, making RVs ideal for summer road trips and family vacations.

Boats
1995-present

Boats donated to Cruise for Cause are often sold at auction or used for parts, ensuring they’re making waves in the community funding.

As a coastal city, Fort Lauderdale’s waterways thrive, and donated boats help support numerous local initiatives.

Commercial Vehicles
1995-present

Commercial vehicles can be auctioned off or sold for parts, often attracting businesses and entrepreneurs in need.

In Fort Lauderdale’s vibrant business environment, these vehicles are essential for local trade and commerce.

Non-running Vehicles
1995-present

Non-running vehicles can still be donated and may be sold for parts or recycled, reducing waste and supporting our community initiatives.

In our city, even non-running vehicles can be a valuable resource for parts and recycling in a busy climate.

Condition guide

When it comes to donating vehicles, we consider running, non-running, and those with salvage titles. A running vehicle is ideal, but if your car doesn't start or requires significant repairs, it can still qualify for donation. Non-running vehicles are often valued for their parts or recycling potential, contributing to our funding goals just the same.

Vehicles with salvage titles may also be accepted, as long as they can be salvaged for parts or recycled responsibly. However, if your vehicle has extensive damage or if it’s been deemed a total loss by an insurance company, we may not be able to accept it. Our team is here to assist you in understanding what qualifies!
